Construction Details
- Fabricated from 3 mm thick mild-steel sheet or GI sheet.
- Base plate and side walls are accurately cut to the specified dimensions.
- Side walls are securely welded to the base plate.
- Corners are maintained square during fabrication.
- Optional handles are welded on two opposite sides for convenient handling.
- All exposed edges are suitably ground and finished to remove sharp edges and burrs.
Fabrication Process
- Cutting: Base plate and side-wall sections are cut according to the specified dimensions.
- Edge Preparation: All cut edges are cleaned and ground to remove burrs and sharp projections.
- Assembly: Side walls are positioned accurately on the base plate, ensuring proper alignment and square corners.
- Welding: Fillet welds are applied along the required joints between the base and side walls. Additional corner reinforcement may be provided where required.
- Finishing: Welded areas are cleaned and ground smooth. The finished tray may be supplied in plain, painted, or powder-coated condition.
